Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, sometime in the overnight hours, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 37-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 74 in Fountain County, Indiana.
Representatives from the Indiana State Police said 37-year-old Lakeisha Dairo was killed when the car she was in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 74. Emergency responders pronounced Dairo dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
Police have since charged the driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as Sayidali Sheikhmohamed, with driving while suspended resulting in death in connection with the accident.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
