Details:
On or about Saturday, December 25th, 2021, sometime in the nighttime hours, a hit-and-run accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of a 24-year-old man. Investigators said the accident was reported at the intersection of Rex Baxter Drive and George Dieter Drive in El Paso, Texas.
Officers from the EPPD said 24-year-old Laramie Fowler was killed when the motorcycle he was on was allegedly hit by a turning car as he was passing through the intersection of George Dieter and Rex Baxter. Emergency responders rushed Fowler to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. The driver of the car fled the scene after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of George Dieter and Rex Baxter is on the far east side of El Paso.
Police are still looking into the incident.
