On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent a 50-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the NSP said the accident was reported along Highway 63 in Cass County, Nebraska.
Representatives from the Nebraska State Police said 50-year-old Larry Helm was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly hit the back of another 18-wheeler. After the initial collision, Helm’s tractor-trailer crashed into a ditch a short distance off the pavement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Greenwood.
Multiple agencies are looking into the cause of the accident.
