On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 12:25 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 23-year-old woman injured. Authorities from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of FM 529 and Jackrabbit Road in Houston, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 23-year-old Laura Botero was killed when the car she was driving was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was turning at the intersection of FM 529 and Jackrabbit Road. Paramedics treated Botero for unspecified injuries after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
Police said driver inattention may be a factor in the accident.
