Details:
On or about Saturday, April 22nd, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a two-vehicle car accident left a 22–year-old woman dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Representatives from the Texas DPS said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Schertz, Texas.
Authorities from the area said 22-year-old Lauren Carreon was killed when the vehicle she was riding in allegedly hit a barrier and bounced into the path of a pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced Carreon dead a short time after the accident, while the driver of the car and the pickup truck were taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is not far from Cibolo Valley Drive.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
