Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, around 3:28 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and two other vehicles left a 23-year-old woman dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Troopers from the NYSP said the accident was reported along Route 9W in Ulster, New York.
Investigators said 23-year-old Laylianna Haynes was killed when her car was allegedly struck by a box truck as she was waiting to turn. After the intiial collision, Haynes’ vehicle was pushed into a second car. Haynes died of her injuries after the accident, while two people in the second car, identified as Thomas and Christi Provenzano, were taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Ulster is about 103 miles north of New York City.
Officials are still investigating.
