On or about Friday, February 25th, 2022, around 7:10 in the morning, an accident between a garbage truck and a passenger vehicle left a 45-year-old woman dead. Officials from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 60 just outside Milton in Cabell County, West Virginia.

Investigators said 45-year-old Leanne B. James was killed when a garbage truck allegedly veered over the center line of the roadway and struck her vehicle. Paramedics pronounced James dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated between Milton and Culloden.
