Details:
On or about Friday, April 29th, 2022, around 3:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a work truck left a 44-year-old man dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 48 in Cameron County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said 44-year-old Lee Adam Flores was killed when the passenger vehicle he was driving allegedly ran off the roadway and crashed when it made an evasive maneuver when a work truck unexpectedly swerved along Highway 48. Paramedics pronounced Flores dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Brownsville.
Police are still investigating the accident.
