On or about Thursday, November 11th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, a major accident between a tractor-trailer, a pickup truck, and an SUV left a Houston, Texas man dead sent two other people to the hospital. Troopers from the LSP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 10 in Crowley, Louisiana.

Officials from the Louisiana State Police said 32-year-old Leon Lamarcus Horhn was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly swerved to avoid a collision with a car and crossed into the lanes of oncoming traffic where it collided with an SUV and a pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced Horhn dead a short time after the accident, while two other individuals to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 10 runs east and west through the north end of Crowley, which is about 24 miles west of Lafayette.

Police are still looking into the incident.
