On or about Friday, December 10th, 2021, around 11:40 at night, a serious single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy and sent a 23-year-old man to the hospital. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 3126 just outside Livingston in Polk County, Texas.
Police said 15-year-old Levi Campbell was killed, while 23-year-old Randall Zachery was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Farm-to-Market Road 3126 and rolled several times. Paramedics rushed Campbell to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. . Emergency responders transported Zachery to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about seven miles south of Livingston, which is about 73 miles north of downtown Houston.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
