On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, around 1:45 in the morning, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 52-year-old man dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 349 in Martin County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 52-year-old Liboryo Iglesias was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck his vehicle while attempting a turn along Highway 349. Emergency responders pronounced Iglesias dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries or vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of Midland.
