Details:
On or about Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, around 7:45 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 62-year-old woman dead. Authorities from the MSHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 255 in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Officials said 62-year-old Linda Hemenway was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck her vehicle as she may have been reversing across or onto the shoulder of Interstate 255. Paramedics pronounced Hemenway dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the accident. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Edwin Hemenway was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of St. Louis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
