On or about Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, around 4:40 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities from the UHP said the accident was reported along Highland Drive in Holladay, Utah.
Representatives from the Utah Highway Patrol said 74-year-old Linda Shelton Beeman was killed when the vehicle she driving was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was turning out of a business along Highland Drive. Emergency responders pronounced Beeman dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with 4500 South.
State and local agencies responded to the scene to assist.
