On or about Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, around 1:06 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a car sent a 17-year-old girl to the hospital. Police said the accident happened at the intersection of County Road 236 and County Road 212 in Hancock County, Ohio.

Investigators said 17-year-old Lindsey Stultz was injured when her car was allegedly struck by a box truck that proceeded eastbound into the intersection on County Road 212. First responders airlifted to Mercy Health-St. Vincent’s Medical Center with serious injuries. Officials identified the driver of the box truck as 37-year-old Richard Zajac Jr, who was uninjured in the accident.

Google Maps shows the intersection is situated on the far northeastern edge of Findlay, which is about 46 miles south of Toledo.

Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the investigation.
