Details:
On or about Monday, July 26th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 50-year-old woman and a 62-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the TSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 59 in Greene County, Alabama.
Investigators said 50-year-old Myrtle Payne, and 62-year-old Lisa Payne were killed when a Jeep SUV allegedly struck the vehicle they were in on Interstate 59. After the initial collision, Police have not mentioned any other vehicles in connection with the crash.
According to Google Maps, Greene County is located about 35-miles southeast of Tuscaloosa.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
