Details:
On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a passenger vehicle, and two SUVs left two women dead. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported along C.R. 17 in Goshen, Indiana.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police said 44-year-old Dawn Covey and 72-year-old Lois Fair were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the vehicle they were in as they were turning. After the initial impact, the car was spun into two nearby SUVs. Emergency responders pronounced both Covey and Fair dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with Reith Boulevard.
