Details:
On or about Saturday, January 8th, 2022, a serious single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of County Road 120 and County Road 1140 in Midland County, Texas.
Texas DPS spokespeople said 54-year-old Louise Renee Pyle was killed when the passenger vehicle she was driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed at the intersection of County Road 120 and County Road 1140. Paramedics pronounced Pyle dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their preliminary report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Midland County is about 132 miles south of downtown Lubbock.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
