On or about June 3rd, 2021, around 2:44 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent a 45-year-old woman to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along CR 289 in Wharton County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 45-year-old Ma Del Carmen Zarazua Landero was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly pulled out of a driveway and struck the SUV she was in. Emergency responders transported Landero to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
