On or about Monday, July 26th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 17-year-old girl dead and sent several others to the hospital. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Dunn Avenue and New King Road in Jacksonville, Florida.
Law enforcement representatives said 17-year-old Malana Henderson was killed and several other people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the car they were in as they were turning onto Dunn Avenue from New King Road. Emergency responders pronounced Henderson dead of her injuries after the accident, but officials did not specify if she died at the scene or after being taken to a nearby hospital.
