A man was killed after his bicycle was struck by a FNDY Fire Truck on Juniper Boulevard at 80th Street in Queens, NY. Officers with the New York Police Department say the accident took place around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
The fire truck was reportedly responding to a church fire when it struck the cyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the truck was travelling with lights and sirens on at the time of the accident. Investigation into the incident is underway.
