Details:

A man was seriously injured after he was struck by a semi-truck while walking along State Highway 27 near Cashton, WI. Deputies with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office say the accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Authorities report the man was walking south along the northbound shoulder when he was struck by the semi. He was airlifted to Gundersen Health System with serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene. Investigation into the accident is currently underway.
