On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 9:41 in the morning, a single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Knickerbocker Road in San Angelo, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said 45-year-old Mandy Lowry was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and crashed into Lake Nasworthy. Emergency responders pronounced Lowry dead of her injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 7 miles south of San Angelo.
Authorities are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
