Details:
On or about Friday, November 5th, 2021, around 11:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle rollover accident sent one individual to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported on the northbound side of Interstate 69E near the exchange with Woods Road in Cameron County, Texas.
Law enforcement personnel said 45-year-old Manuel Rodriguez Vidal was injured when the Ford Fusion he was driving allegedly skidded off the side of Interstate 69E and rolled when it struck a barrier. Emergency responders rushed Vidal to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police later determined Vidal had a BAC of .209 at the time of the accident.
Officials are still looking into the incident.
