Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, around 7:30 in the evening, a hit-and-run accident with a pedestrian left a 35-year-old man dead. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Old Houston Highway near the intersection with Laura Lane in Waller County, Texas.
Investigators said 35-year-old Marco A. Aguilar-Perez was killed when he was allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Old Houston Highway. The offending vehicle fled the scene of the accident. Paramedics rushed Aguilar-Perez to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday, November 19th, 2021.
According to Google Maps, Waller County is about 57 miles northwest of downtown Houston.
Police are still trying to find the vehicle that fled the scene.
