Details:

Marcus Johnson and Dante Jose Guel were killed in a head-on collision between two dump trucks on State Route 437, near Philippi Road, outside of Shelbyville, TN. Tennessee Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

The dump truck driven by Johnson reportedly crossed the center line before colliding head-on with Guel’s dump truck. Guel’s vehicle turned onto its side before catching fire. Johnson’s truck overturned and went off the road before also catching fire. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
