On or about Tuesday, April 13th, 2021, around 4:17 in the morning, an accident between a minivan and a tractor-trailer left a 23-year-old Chicago man dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along East Highway 20 in Chesterton, Indiana.
Deputies from the Porter County Sheriff’s Office said 23-year-old Marcus McCoy was killed when the minivan he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. The tractor-trailer rolled off the side of the roadway after the initial collision. Paramedics pronounced McCoy dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 46 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
