Marisol Tinoco-Carillo was killed after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in the early hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024. Tinoco-Carillo was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead. Jose Aviles, the driver who struck Tinoco-Carillo, was taken into custody by the Fort Worth Police Department on charges of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
