Details:
On or about Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, around 9:20 at night, a major two-vehicle car accident left one person dead and sent four others to the hospital. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 30 just outside College Station in Brazos County, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 21-year-old Marissa Minor was killed while four other people were injured when two vehicles allegedly collided head-on when one of them attempted to pass in the oncoming lanes of Highway 30. Emergency responders pronounced Minor dead a short time after the accident, while the driver and three other occupants were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance south of College Station.
