Details:
On or about Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, around 4:25 in the afternoon, a major collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 21-year-old man dead. Deputies from the White County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along East Booth Road in Searcy, Arkansas.
Troopers from the Arkansas State Police said 21-year-old Mark Emberson Jr. was killed when the pickup truck he was driving allegedly crossed over the center line of East Booth Road and hit a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. Paramedics pronounced Emberson dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, East Booth Road cuts east and west through Searcy.
Authorities are still examining the cause of the accident.
