Details:
On or about Wednesday, October 21st, 2020, around 7:15 in the morning, an accident between a GMC Terrain, two pickup trucks, and a tractor-trailer resulted in three deaths. Department of Public Safety Troopers said that the accident happened on FM 181 near Goldsmith in Ector County, Texas.
Texas DPS said that Marlene Olivas, Magdaly Olivas, and Glenn Juarez were killed when the GMC Terrain Marlene and Magdaly were in allegedly veered over the center line of FM 181 and collided with two pickup trucks and an 18-wheeler. One of the pickup trucks was driven by Glenn Juarez.
All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. No other injuries were reported.
Google Streetview shows that FM 181 is a two lane roadway that runs north and south about 4 miles north of Goldsmith, Texas. Goldsmith is seated about 20 miles northwest of Odessa.
Authorities expect to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
