On or about Monday, November 9th, 2020, around 6:18 in the evening, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent one 54-year-old woman to the hospital. State Troopers said the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 10 and County Road 75 in Bluffton Township, Minnesota.
Officials said 54-year-old Martha Eileen Allen was a passenger in an SUV on County Road 75 that was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was headed eastbound on Highway 10. Paramedics transported Allen to nearby Tri County Wadena Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer, as well as three other passengers in the SUV did not report injuries after the crash.
Looking at the intersection on Google Maps shows Highway 10 is two lanes that run east and west, while County Road 75 is two lanes that run north and south. Bluffton is located about 86 miles southeast of Fargo, North Dakota.
State Police assisted Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department at the scene of the accident.
