On or about Monday, November 8th, 2021, around 4:40 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a pickup truck, and a passenger vehicle left one woman dead and sent three other people to the hospital. Officials from the MSP said the accident was reported along the McMullen Highway in Rawlings, Maryland.

Officials said 95-year-old Martha Armstrong was killed, while 68-year-old Robert Armstrong, 38-year-old Eric Augustine, and 30-year-old Alicia Aldridge were injured when a tractor-trailer, a pickup truck, and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances on McMullen Highway. Robert and Martha Armstrong, who were in the passenger vehicle, were rushed to the hospital where Martha succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival. Officials identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Eric Augustine, and the driver of the pickup as Alicia Aldridge. Aldridge and Augustine were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, Rawlings is about 149 miles northwest of downtown Baltimore.

Police are still investigating.
