On or about Monday, January 18th, 2021, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 46-year-old man from St. Louis. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened in the southbound lanes of North Lindbergh Boulevard in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Investigators said 46-year-old Marvin Wyatt was killed when his car allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer while changing lanes. Paramedics rushed Wyatt to nearby DePaul Hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police identified the driver of the tractor-trailer as Divontie Shaw, who was unhurt in the accident.

According to Google Maps, Bridgeton is situated on the northwest side of the greater St. Louis area.

Missouri State Highway Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
