Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Route 96A and County Road 129 in Lodi, New York.
Police officers said 79-year-old Mary Church was killed when a tow truck pulling a propane truck allegedly struck her vehicle in the intersection of State Route 96A and County Road 129. Emergency responders pronounced Church dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Officials identified the driver of the tow truck as Edwin Compton, who was unhurt in the collision along with his as-of-yet unidentified passenger.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 69 miles southwest of Syracuse.
