Mary Louise Bartine was driving her SUV east on Wednesday morning, November 27, 2024, when she collided with a semi-truck carrying a load of pigs. The trailer overturned, and Bartine was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, which would prove to be fatal. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
