On or about Wednesday, December 29th, 2021, around 12:26 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and two tractor-trailers left one woman dead and another person injured. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 67 in Randolph County, Arkansas.

Investigators said 25-year-old Megan Crawford was killed when the SUV she was driving allegedly collided with two tractor-trailers while attempting a passing maneuver on Highway 67. Paramedics pronounced Crawford dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Officials identified one of the tractor-trailer drivers as 30-year-old Shane Owens, who was St. Bernard’s Five Rivers Hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Highway 67 winds north and south through Randolph County, which is about 151 miles northeast of downtown Little Rock.

Officials are still investigating the accident.
