Authorities from the NDHP said the accident was reported in a construction zone along 15th Street Southeast in Cooperstown, North Dakota.
Investigators said 50-year-old Melissa McMahon was killed when she was allegedly struck by a backing dump truck at a construction site on 15th Street Southeast. Emergency responders pronounced McMahon dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, Cooperstown is situated about 165 miles northeast of downtown Bismarck.
