On or about Saturday, December 11th, 2021, around 11:06 at night, an accident between two passenger vehicles claimed the life of a 36-year-old man and sent a 21-year-old woman to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 87 just outside Wall in Tom Green County, Texas.
Police officers said 36-year-old Micah Deshon Jones was killed, while 21-year-old Emily Miller was injured when the vehicles they were driving collided when one of them turned onto Highway 87. Paramedics pronounced jones dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Emergency responders transported Miller to Shannon Medial Center to be treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about one mile west of Wall, which is about 198 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio.
