Details:
On or about Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, around 11:45 at night, a head-on collision between a passenger vehicle and another car left four individuals dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 in Wilmer, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said 28-year-old Michael Coyne and three other as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a vehicle allegedly driving the wrong direction on I-45 and slammed into another vehicle head-on. Emergency responders pronounced Coyne, two juvenile Emergency responders pronounced Coyne, two juvenile passengers and the driver of the alleged wrong-way vehicle dead after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is situated close to the exchange with Mars Road.
Police are still investigating the accident.
