On or about Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent a 31-year-old man to the hospital. Law enforcement personnel from the area said the accident was reported on Highway 207 at the intersection with FM 2385 in Carson County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 31-year-old Michael David Shepherd was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 207 and FM 2385. Paramedics transported Shepherd to a nearby hospital where he was treated for incapacitating injuries.
According to Google Maps, Carson County is about 37 miles northeast of Amarillo.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
