On or about Saturday, June 4th, 2022, around 1:15 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left a 22-year-old man dead. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported along Highway 119 in Bakersfield, California.
Representatives from the California Highway Patrol said 22-year-old Michael Lopez was killed when the motorcycle he was on and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 119. Emergency responders pronounced Lopez dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision. Authorities did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the incident.
