On or about Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent a 76-year-old man to the hospital. Deputies from the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Highway 20 just outside Atomic City, Idaho.
Police said 76-year-old Michael Sinclair was injured when a tractor-trailer driven by Joey Morrison allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 20 and struck Sinclair’s SUV. Paramedics transported Sinclair to the hospital by helicopter after the crash. Authorities did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 20 runs east and west through Atomic City, which is about 218 miles east of Boise.
