Details:
On or about Monday, May 16th, 2022, around 4:55 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a heavy duty truck left a 63-year-old woman dead. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along Highway 176 in Martin County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 63-year-old Michelle August was killed when the pickup truck she was driving allegedly veered over the center line of Highway 176 and collided with a Ford F-350 pickup truck in the oncoming lanes of traffic. Paramedics pronounced August dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 28 miles north of Midland.
Police are still investigating the accident.
