Details:
On or about Friday, June 10th, 2022, around 1:12 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left a 26-year-old man dead. Authorities from the EPPD said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in El Paso, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 26-year-old Miguel Angel Ortiz was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of Interstate 10 and crashed into a construction barrier a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders rushed Ortiz to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the eastbound side of Interstate 10.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
