Details:
On or about Monday, February 21st, 2022, around 8:30 at night, a serious car accident between a pickup truck and a pedestrian left a 35-year-old man dead. Officers from the area said the accident was reported along Fourth Street in Longview, Texas.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said 35-year-old Miguel Angel Saquic was killed when he was allegedly struck by a pickup truck as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Fourth Street. Emergency responders pronounced Saquic dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Longview.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
