On or about Saturday, December 4th, 2021, around 10:18 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and an MTA bus claimed the life of one individual. Officers from the NYPD said the accident was reported at the intersection of Ebbitts Street and Weed Avenue in New Dorp Beach on Staten Island, New York.

New York Police Department officials said Mikhail Sukhitskiy was killed when the car he was driving and an MTA bus collided under unspecified circumstances at the intersection of Weed Avenue and Ebbitts Street. Emergency responders rushed Sukhitskiy to nearby Staten Island University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Staten Island.

Police are still investigating the collision.
