On or about Wednesday, June 31st, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 71-year-old man from Haynesville. Troopers from the LSP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
Officials from the Louisiana State Police said 71-year-old Milton Mosby was killed when his car was allegedly struck from behind by a tractor-trailer as they were heading east on I-20. Emergency responders pronounced Mosby dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 runs east and west along the northern edge of Bienville Parish, which is about 58 miles east of downtown Shreveport.
