Details:
On or about Sunday, May 29th, 2022, around 5:45 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left a 37-year-old woman dead. Sources from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1015 in Progresso, Texas.
Local law enforcement representatives said 37-year-old Minerva Hinojosa was killed when she was allegedly hit by a passing motorist while she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of FM 1015. Emergency responders pronounced Hinojosa dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is not far from Rancho Toluca Road.
Police are still investigating the accident.
