Details:
On or about Friday, November 27th, 2020, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 20-year-old man dead. Highway Patrol said the accident happened on the westbound side of the 91 Freeway in Fullerton, California.
Officers said 20-year-old Misael Orea De Albino was killed when he was allegedly hit by an 18-wheeler while he was walking in or near the westbound lanes of traffic. Paramedics pronounced De Albino dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene. Police did not release any other details in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, the 91 Freeway is ten lanes where the accident occurred, with a tall, concrete barrier dividing east and westbound traffic. Fullerton is located about 26 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
