On or about Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, around 4:00 in the afternoon, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and passenger vehicle left a 30-year-old woman dead and sent a man to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along Eden Road in San Leandro, California.
Authorities from the California Highway Patrol said 30-year-old Misti Peterson was killed and her passenger was injured when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Eden Rd. Emergency responders pronounced Peterson dead a short time after the accident, while a passenger was rushed to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
